The Foundation promotes a new digital cycle of colloquium between 4 and 6 sessions in which the management team of the entity dialogues with multidisciplinary experts (gastronomy, architecture, technology, among others) to reflect the anticipatory power of Anticipatory Arts and how creativity allows us to face the challenges of the future.
The cycle can be followed through the Foundation’s YouTube channel.
The guests, referents from different fields of knowledge, will present their processes and their work (experiences, spaces, literature, science, objects, habitat, etc.) inviting the public to discover and acquire new knowledge.
12th of May
The first guest of Diálogos Épicos is Andoni Luis Aduriz, one of the most influential chefs of our time. Always betting on evolution and interdisciplinarity in the kitchen, he is the founder of Mugaritz. The transgression in the kitchen has led the Aduriz restaurant to reap innumerable successes: since 2006 it has remained among the top ten restaurants in the world according to Restaurant magazine and has two Michelin Stars.
26th of May
On this occasion we have Dr. Lluís Fuentemilla, psychologist, neuroscientist, professor and researcher at the UB and ICREA Academia. Our guest, who investigates the functioning of memory and how it operates in the brain, has participated in different projects of the Foundation (Information vs Memory, 2018 and Complex Systems, 2019). Epica has served him as the ideal scenography to create and anticipate realities in which to carry out his investigations. In this talk, we relate Anticipatory Arts to neuroscience research and creative processes.
9th of June
The third guest is Dr. Fernando Vilariño, Associate Director of the CVC, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science at the UAB and coordinator of the ENoLL. His work focuses on the transfer of Computer Vision technology and the approach of science and innovation to citizens through the implementation of a Living Lab model. Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Open Innovation, are the areas of knowledge of our guest, which will serve as a starting point to talk about the future, technology and art.

The fourth guest is Ana Alcantud, sociologist and Consulting Director of Anteverti where she directs strategic projects in Smart Cities, Innovation and Urban Sustainability, topics that will be discussed in this talk. She is also Lead Expert of the European Urbact Program in sustainability and integral urban renewal. Among her latest work, highlights the conceptualization of the Blue Economy for the Port Olímpic of Barcelona, the collaboration with the Barcelona Innovation Coast and the direction of the R+D+I Agenda of Argentina for smart and sustainable cities.
